I have dedicated the past 13 years to helping everyday people unleash their inner athlete through small group functional fitness training and have found that it’s a gateway to all around better living. At Brigade, we go beyond just physical training—we focus on sleep, nutrition, mindset, movement, and support systems to ensure our clients achieve lasting results. I am particularly passionate about supporting women as they transition into midlife and beyond. Understanding the unique challenges and opportunities of this life stage is key to thriving, and I’m committed to guiding you every step of the way on your wellness journey.
Emily is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in Business Finance and a Chartered Financial Analyst. Emily competed at the CrossFit Regionals in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016 and is a Level 3 Certified CrossFit Trainer and certified Healthy Steps Nutrition coach.
SHANNON HAMAKER

What started as a curiosity about mid-life has turned into a movement to help as many women as possible do the same! I believe that when we shed the layers of misunderstandings surrounding sexuality and intimacy, there is MAGIC. Through somatic practices such as nervous system support, movement, breathwork, and inner child work, I help uncover the authentic version of you that longs for more fulfillment in life.
Shannon is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in Human Ecology with a focus on Marriage & Family. She is a Certified Sexual Health Promoter and Educator through Indiana University, a Certified Sex Coach, and a Somatic Practitioner certified in the TCS™ Method.
